RICHARD HAROLD "SID" LEIVE

RUBYVILLE. Richard Harold "Sid" Leive, 85, of Rubyville, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at his residence.

Born December 8, 1930 in South Webster, a son of the late Harold E. and Minnie Louise (Potts) Leive, he was a retired math and science teacher for Clay Local Schools. Following his retirement he substituted and finished his teaching career with a total of 51 years of service. He was also an Air Force Veteran during the Korean Conflict.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol (Conkel) Leive on March 29, 2016.

He is survived by two sons, Terry (Nancy) Conkel of Wheelersburg, Richard (Angie) Leive of Dayton; a daughter, Lisa (Neil) Rhodes of Chillicothe; two grandchildren, Morgan (Devin) Frost and Brady Rhodes.

Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Rob McKinney officiating. Burial will be at Bennett Cemetery in Minford.
