Mrs. Gasho Retires

Each year a school district has a new group of seniors say goodbye.  Sometimes a school district will say goodbye and thank you to a staff member or a group of staff members.  This year, the Clay Local School District says a BIG THANK YOU to Mrs. Karen Gasho for her service to the children and community.

Mrs. Gasho started at Clay in 1992 as a junior high language arts teacher.  Before coming to Clay she taught kindergarten in northern Ohio.  She later moved to the Rosemount as a kindergarten teacher, and she finished her career with the district as a first grade teacher.

She will be missed.  Good luck!  Happy retirement!

Parents, grandparents, and guardians:

Clay Middle School has begun collecting Boxtops for education.  We are collecting these Box Tops to offer rewards for our Accelerated Reader (AR) program.

Students are getting excited about reading, and we want to reward them for their efforts.

We are asking everyone to get involved.

All you have to do is cut the Box Tops off participating merchandise you have purchased and then send it in with a child attending Clay Middle/High School.  You can also bring it into the main office.

It is a fundraiser that takes very little time and effort on your part, and it has great results for our children.

Thank you in advance for your effort!
