2009-2010 NHS Tapping

The Clay High School National Honor Society "tapped" six new members on Tuesday, February 23, 2010.  The current members of the NHS chose the theme of "Shepherds and Sheep" for the tapping ceremonies.  Katie Wheeler, Natalie Thacker, Morgan Garrett, McKenzie Carr, and Kyle Pollard, the current NHS members, played the roles of the shepherds. 

During the tapping ceremony, the current members played the Paul McCartney song "Mary Had a Little Lamb" as they searched out one new member at different times of the school day.  They then dressed the new NHS' members as cute little sheep.  The new NHS' members include Jessica Arnold, Katherine Bauer, Chelsea Beegan, Keely Craft, Kylie Davis, and Julie Williams.  Congratulations to our new little sheep!

The National Honor Society induction will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010.  The avisor of the NHS is Mrs. Janet Deal.
