THANK YOU! Bryan Christopher Whitley Memorial Scholarship Spaghetti Dinner

Thanks to the area business and community for the outstanding support. Clay HS held a spaghetti dinner on Saturday, March 9, 2013, to help raise money for the newly created Bryan Christopher Whitley Memorial Scholarship.

The dinner was from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday evening in the Clay HS cafetorium. The dinner included spaghetti, breadsticks, dessert, and drink. Music was provided by Chad Hickman and friends. The money ($3,177.00) raised will help provide two $1,000 scholarships for two graduating seniors at Clay High School in memory of Bryan Whitley, a 1994 graduate of Clay High School. The scholarship forms will be available in the guidance office after Monday, April 25, 2013.

Students Advance in Spelling Bee Competition

Congratulations to 6th grader, Calvin Gerard, the Clay Middle School Spelling Bee Champion, and 4th grader, Emily Clausing, the Clay Elementary School Spelling Bee Champion! Both of these students have advanced to the Regional Spelling Bee, which will be held at Ohio University on March 16, 2013. Good Luck to Calvin and Emily!
