Flannery Wins CMS Spelling Bee

The Clay Middle School Spelling Bee was held on Thursday, December 12, 2013. 

The middle school students participating in the event were Skylar Artis, Madison Damron, Dakota Dodds, Lane Downey, Bethany Flannery, Calvin Gerard, Gage Keller, Trinity Ketchell, Jonathan Lester, Sydney Osborn, Jaelyn Warnock, and Jacob Wellman.

Bethany Flannery, an eighth grader, was the winner.  Skylar Artis, a seventh grader, was runner-up.  Bethany will advance to the Scioto County Spelling Bee later this school year.
