FIRE PREVENTION WEEK

Fire Prevention Week was October 7-11.  This year's Fire Prevention Poster Contest Theme was  "Not Every Hero Wears a Cape - Plan  and Practice Your Escape!"  Awards were given in each grade level for Third Place, Second Place, and First Place.  An Overall Winner was also given in grades K-2 and grades 3-5. The Overall Winners' Posters will advance to the State for judging in the State Fire Prevention Poster Contest.  Rosemount and Rubyville Firemen spent the day at Clay Elementary going room to room to discuss Fire Safety and Prevention.  Rosemount Firemen are Kyle McCain, Drew Oliver, Hunter Armstrong, and Race Oberling.  Rubyville Firemen are Gabe Miller and Luke Rodbell.  Clay Elementary students and staff thank these firemen for teaching us Fire Safety and Prevention, providing Poster Contest awards, and volunteering their time with us!
