2008-2009 Homecoming

We would like to congratulate the following girls for being selected the 2008-2009 Clay Basketball Homecoming Queen and Court by the Clay student body. The Queen and her court were honored between games of the South Webster contest on Saturday, Febraury 7, 2009. The cheerleaders also sponsored a dance after the game in honor of the Queen and her court.

Shay Walker, freshmen attendant, is the daughter of Rick and Linda Walker of Rosemount.  She was escorted by Jacob Crapyou, son of Chuck and Lisa Crapyou of Portsmouth.
Julie Ann Williams, sophomore attendant, is the daughter of Joe and Nancy Williams of Lucasville.  She was escorted by Camerson Caseman, son of Donnie and Judy Caseman.
Katie Wheeler, junior attendant, is the daughter of Darla Wheeler of Rosemount, and Lee and Jodi Wheeler of Minford.  She was escorted by Morgan Garrett, son of Ted and Lisa Garrett of Rosemount.
Danielle Taylor, vocational attendant, is the daughter of Mary and Ronald Hoover.  She was escorted by Max Graham, son of James and Melissa Graham of Portsmouth.
Courtney Wilson, senior attendanct, is the daughter of Rick and Yodi Wilson of Portsmouth.  She was escorted by Kyle Pollard, son of Ron and Julie Pollard of Rosemount.
Caitlynn Oliver, senior attendant, is the daughter of Darren and Lisa Oliver of Rosemount.  Caitlynn is the mother of Caden McKenzie.  She is being escorted by Cody Bussler, son of Pete and Kelly Bussler.

Kristen Hines is the daughter of Tim and Sheryl Hines.  She was escorted by Matt Stroud, son of Daivid and Laura Stroud.  Kristen and Matt walked  to "You had me from Hello" by Kenny Chesney.

Junior JVS Attendant

Arianna Smith is the granddaughter of Diana and Lary Smith.  She was escorted by Shane Keen, son of Rodney and Tina Keen.  Arianna and Shane walked to "I Loved Her First" by Heartland.

Kristen Adams is the daughter of Doug and Kelly Adams.  She was escorted by Ryan Cucore, son of Kim Woten and Steve Cucore.  Kristen and Ryan walked to "Me and You" by Kenny Chesney.

Jessica Hensley is the daughter of Micah and Amy Ross.  She was escorted by Doran Martin, grandson of Tom and Unita Tomlin.  Jessica and Doran walked to "Whatever It Takes" by Kellie Coffey.

Senior Attendant

Sonja Neuendorf is the daughter of Hartmut and Susanne Neuendorf.  She lives with her Host Family Mark and Lori Scott of Eden Park.  She was escorted by Micah Redden, son of Marty and Carolyn Redden.  Sonja and Micah walked to "Für immer und Dich (Forever and You)" by Jan Delay.

Flower Girl and Crown Bearer

Kelsey Luv Fowler is the 4 year old daughter of Trish and Kenny Fowler.  Mason Tyler Parks is the 4 year old son of Eli Parks and Tiffany Brigner Schug.  Kelsey and Mason walked to "L.O.V.E" by Frank Sinatra.

Queen

Alli Crippen is the daughter of Jeff and Joni Crippen.  She was escorted by Justin Craft, son of Kevin and Cindy Craft, and Derrick Webb, son of Glenn and Shawna Webb.  Alli, Justin, and Derrick walked to "Just to Hear You Say That You Love Me" by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw.

Homecoming Activites
During the week the students participated in Hobo Day, Twin Day, Decade Day, and Blue and Gold Day.  Some of the activities were Buddie Boards, Bat Spin, Tug-A-War, Dodgeball, and on Friday there was a Pep Rally and a Mock Homecoming.
    
   
  

2005-2006 Clay High School Homecoming
 
The 2005-2006 Clay Basketball Homecoming was held on Saturday, January 21, 2006 between the junior varsity and varsity contests.  The Clay Panthers played host to the Manchester Greyhounds that evening.  The JV team won 30-29 while the varsity won 37-31.
  
Our 2005-2006 Homecoming Queen was Kimberly Kristina Albrecht, daughter of LaRonda and Jeff Fite of West Portsmouth and Tim and Lisa Albrecht of Pikeville, Kentucky.  She was escorted by Michael Thacker, son of Butch and Toni Thacker and Cameron Thoroughman, son of Mike and Marla Thoroughman.


Flower Bearer and Crown Bearer were Eli Zachary Eaton and Jared Michael Albrecht.  Eli Eaton is the son of LaRonda and Jeff Fite and Sean Eaton.  He attends West Portsmouth Elementary and is in the first grade.  Jared Albrecht is the son of Tim and Lisa Albrecht. He attends Pikeville Elementary in Pikeville, Kentucky and is in the second grade.


One Senior Attendant was Robin Wolfe, daughter of Peggy Wolfe of Portsmouth.  She was escorted by Derrick Webb, son of Shawna and Glen Webb of Lucasville.


The other Senior Attendant was Bethany Prise, daughter of Beth Rice of Portsmouth and Dirk Prise of West Portsmouth.  She was escorted by Justin Craft, son of Cindy and Kevin Craft of Rubyville.


The Junior Attendant was Chassidy Adams, daughter of Doug and Kelly Adams.  She was escorted by Ryan Cucore, son of Kim Woten and Steve Cucore.


The Junior Vocational Attendant was Kayla Trent, daughter of Lori Trent and Mark Throckmorton.  She was excorted by Shane Caseman, son of Donald and Judy Caseman.


Sophomore Attendant was Casey Stapleton, daughter of Carlos Stapleton and Michelle Riggs.  She was escorted by Justin Clevenger, son of Jeff and Jan Clevenger.


The Freshman Attendant was Chelsie Thomas, daughter of Jim and Tabi Thomas.  She was escorted by Shane Keen, son of Rodney and Tina Keen.

Our Queen, Kim, and her court send warm, heartfelt thank yous to the following people for their time, persistence, patience energy, and support.  Without these people, the homecoming decorations and ceremony would not have been possible:
